The Man From The Alamo

synopsis

In the heat of battle at the Alamo, a group of men draw straws to see which of them will leave the fort to save their families from bandits marauding the Texan countryside. John Stroud (Glenn Ford) is the one chosen to leave, but upon reaching the outside world he is mistaken for a deserter and branded a coward. Because of this unjust stigma, he must prove himself in battle all over again--even if it means using his mistaken identity to infiltrate the bandit gang.
