Oz - A Rock And Roll Road Movie

synopsis

It's 1976 Dorothy is a groupie... The Scarecrow is a surfie... The Tin Man is a mechanic... The Cowardly Lion is a bikie... The Wicked Witch drives a semi... The Good Fairy is gay... The Wizard is a rock superstar in OZ! Take a trip down the highway with country runaway Dorothy (Joy Dunstan), as she journeys to the city to catch the farewell gig of rock superstar, The Wizard (Graham Matters). Joining her along the way are a surfie who can't find the beach (Bruce Spence), a bikie who can't stand violence (Gary Waddell) a mechanic who sabotages other peoples engines (Michael Carman) and a towering 15 stone truckie (Ned Kelly) whose monstrous big rig keeps menacingly appearing. Featuring a seminal Australian soundtrack featuring Ross Wilson and Jo Jo Zep and including the hit single "Living In The Land Of Oz", this cult favourite proves that the yellow brick road is paved with ROCK!
