The evacuation of the British forces from the French port of Dunkirk was a turning point in the war against the Nazis. Sir John Mills and Richard Attenborough star in this epic reconstruction of the heroic wartime episode when hundreds of little ships sailed from all over Britain to rescue the fighting men trapped on the infamous French beach.
