An amusing and engaging look at tightrope walker Philippe Petit’s daring, but illegal, high-wire routine performed between New York City’s World Trade Center’s twin towers in 1974. This documentary plays like a heist film, with as much anxiety and daring going into planning as the feat itself. You’ll laugh, gasp and shake your head with amazement at Petit’s stunt, often referred to as ‘the artistic crime of the century’!
Special Features:
* Interview with Philippe Petit
* Audio commentary by director James Marsh
* Sydney Harbour Bridge Crossing - a short film by James Ricketson

Like a crazy poetic French form of the Chaser. I was surprised how funny some of the lead-up was but even more taken aback by the real beauty of the final achievement. Highly recommended.
