The Tulse Luper Suitcases, Part 1: The Moab Story (Disc 1 of 3)

synopsis

THE TULSE LUPER SUITCASES follows the titular character on a series of cross-country adventures starting in 1928 - the year uranium was discovered - until the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Traveling through such diverse terrain as the mid-West of America, Japan, Manchuria and Siberia, Tulse Luper?s story is told with reference to the 92 individually packed suitcases which detail his life as a naturalist, lover, artist, author and voyeur. Subtitled "a personal history of uranium", THE TULSE LUPER SUITCASES updates the oft-told story of an amorous rogue traveler by combining it with Greenaway's own distinct and innovative vision.
