Re-Cycle is the latest effort from Hong Kong's dynamic directing duo Danny and Oxide Pang. By closing the "in Certain Regard" at the 2006 Cannes International Film Festival, the film marked the growing international recognition of the talented twins.
In this dark, hallucinogenic karmic fantasy, novelist Ting-Yin has started work on "The Re-Cycle", a book with a supernatural theme.
After she deletes the draft of the first chapter, Ting-Yin begins to see weird phenomena that can't be explained. She realises that the supernatural events depicted in her fictional work are unfolding in the real world.
Finding it increasingly hard to tell what is real and what is imaginary, Ting-Yin steps into another world... in which she has the experience of pure horror!
