The Bourne Supremacy

synopsis

A CIA agent is killed during an operation, and $3 million of the agency's money is stolen. A partial fingerprint of Jason Bourne is found at the scene. There is only one small problem; there is no Jason Bourne, because the name is only a cover for their agent, David Webb (Matt Damon). Someone has framed Bourne for this incident. David/Bourne has been living underground with his girlfriend, Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente), for the last two years trying to stay off the CIA's radar screen. Bourne told the CIA to leave him alone, or he would retaliate against them. After Bourne is almost killed in India, he comes out of hiding to close the file on the CIA.

I don't know anyone who doesn't love a good suspense/action movie. The Bourne movies are great examples of this genre. I can watch them again, and again. Matt Damon is excellent in the role, and the twists and turns, which are so well scripted, are certainly executed to perfection by him. I would have liked to have seen more of Franca Potente - I loved her in Run, Lola, Run. And revisiting Goa in this movie was a pleasure for me. Excellent entertainment. It is already on the bottom of my hitlist again for a repeat viewing down the track.
