Billy Pilgrim (Michael Sacks) has a problem with time and keeps jumping between three key scenes in his life. The "present" is a glowing suburban bliss; the "past" is being a prisoner of World War II and experiencing the firebombing of Dresden from the wrong side; the "future" is on the planet Tralfamadore, where Billy joins the woman of his fantasies (porn-star Montana Wildhack, played by Valerie Perrine).
Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s anguished cry on the insanity of war is masterfully adapted to the screen in this American film classic.
