The Queen of Sheba's Pearls

synopsis

Set in the post war England of the Fifties, this touching film tells the story of young Jack following the inexplicable death of his beloved mother on his 8th birthday. His 16th birthday, in 1952, is marked by the death of the king. As Jack Celebrates his birthday surrounded by his family, a stranger appears at the door - a very beautiful, mysterious Swedish woman, who bears a startling resemblance to his dead mother, and whose presence would turn Jack's world upside down. THE QUEEN OF SHEBA’S PEARLS is set in England at a time when the empire still stumbled on, and the Sixties had yet to begin.
