Problems with cookie settings

You must enable 'cookies' (small text files) in order to register and use the Kino site. The steps for enabling cookies are different for each browser. The directions below should work for the specified browsers. Once our 'cookie' has been placed on your computer, you will be able to revert to your original 'privacy' settings.

To enable cookies using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6

1. Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu. The Internet Options window opens.
2. Click the Privacy tab. Move the slider to Low or Accept All Cookies and click OK to close the Privacy window.

To enable cookies with Microsoft Explorer 4.01 to 5

1. Choose Internet Options from the View menu. The Internet Options window opens.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Locate the Cookies option in the Security section by using the scroll bar on the right side of the window.
4. Select Always accept cookies and click OK.

To enable cookies with Microsoft Explorer on Mac OS

1. Choose Preferences from the Edit menu. The Internet Explorer Preferences window opens with a list of preference categories on the left side of the window.
2. Locate and click Cookies (listed under Receiving Files). The options for how the browser handles cookies are displayed in the right side of the window.
3. For the When receiving cookies option, choose Never ask.
4. Click OK to save your options and close the window.

To enable cookies with Netscape Navigator

1. Choose Preferences from the Edit menu. The Preferences window opens.
2. In the Category group (left frame), click the Advanced category. The right side of the preferences window changes to the Advanced options.
3. In the Cookies group, choose Accept all cookies and click OK to close the Preferences window.
